Aramu Muru – Hayu Marca, also known as Willka Uta, is located 70 km south of the city of Puno. It is a gate carved in a single piece of rock, almost 7 meters high, that was carved by the descendants of the Tiahuanaco culture, who based it on a model of the Gate of the Sun. It is undoubtedly one of the most mystical, enigmatic, and energetic places in Lake Titicaca, surrounded by a charming landscape (stone forest), where there are also other rock formations that enhance the mystical spirit of the place.
During this tour, we will also make a stop in CHUCUITO, to visit the INCA UYO (Temple of Fertility), a rectangular Inca ceremonial complex that contains phallic monuments where sacred rituals are performed to pay homage to Pachamama (Andean fertility) and the Sun, as well as being used as an astronomical observatory.
Afterwards, we will continue to our destination, ARAMU MURO.
Upon our return, we will make a final stop at the MUSEO DE LA TOTORA (optional), located 7 km from the city of Puno, where we can appreciate well-crafted works based on totora, built entirely of this material, reviving the artisanal spirit of the Chimú people.
We will start the day with a hotel pick-up and departure to Aramu Muru at 07:30 AM. Then, we will visit Chucuito, including the Inca Uyo, Santo Domingo and Asunción churches, Mirador, and Fishery (optional) at 08:00 AM. After that, we will depart towards Aramu Muru at 09:00 AM, arriving there and visiting the interdimensional door for approximately 1 1/2 hours at 10:00 AM. Next, we will depart towards Puno at 11:30 AM and make a stop at the totora museum (optional) at 12:15 PM. Finally, we will continue the transfer to Puno and arrive at the hotel at 01:00 PM.
Hotel pick-up and departure to Aramu Muru at 02:00PM. Visit to Aramu Muru and the interdimensional door for an hour at 03:00PM. Departure towards Chucuito at 04:00PM, then visit Inca Uyo, Santo Domingo and Asunción churches, and the Mirador at 05:00PM. Departure towards Puno at 06:00PM and arrival in Puno with transfer to the hotel at 06:30PM.
